Solar Installation on a converted church

Solar Living has recently completed an installation on a beautiful converted church in the Welsh county of Powys. The property underwent significant renovation works in recent years to convert the building into a domestic dwelling. The owners were keen to safeguard the property for future generations by installing a solar PV system to produce clean renewable electricity. However, there was high importance placed on ensuring the layout and aesthetics of the PV system did not have a detrimental impact on the appearance of the property.

We proposed using high efficiency ALL BLACK solar modules and install the panels using our black module clips which helped match the existing slate roof. With a careful design process we installed a 3kW system which will help produce up to £500 of electricity per annum. The system is also eligible for Feed-In-Tariff payments which will generate a tax free income for 20 years.

Mr Child, the owner of the property was very pleased with the finished installation; we are very happy with the end product and all of the Solar Living team were extremely polite and helpful.
